Unlike other integrated utilities, the alarm clock is part of the main options dialog. Consequently, as well as alarms, it is also used to adjust such options as font and background colors.
Alarms may be set to repeat from hourly to yearly (or not at all). If an alarm (other than hourly) is missed due to Maverick not being open, a Missed Alarm message box is displayed when Maverick is next opened.
