CD Key Reader : Product Key Finder for MS Windows & Office

Occasionally, you may wish to know what CD or Product Key was used to install Windows or an application such as Microsoft Office. This handy little utility is designed to find and display this data.

• This is a small program and does not include install or uninstall methods. Simply download and run it, then delete when necessary. Alternatively, after installing Maverick, CD Key Reader can be found on the Utilities page.
• Currently, only keys for Microsoft applications can be retrieved but this may be extended in the future.
• The CD Key should be retrieved correctly for Windows 2000/XP/Vista (including server and 64bit editions).
• The CD Key cannot always be retrieved
  • if a Microsoft volume license code was used
  • if a Microsoft Technet code was used
  • for Microsoft Office 2000
